The museum is highly experienced at hosting business events in the attractive waterside building that is so conveniently situated for your guests or delegates, just 5 minutes' walk from King's Cross station, but in a completely different world of peaceful canalside heritage.
We're available all day on Mondays and at breakfast-time, and in the evenings, on any day of the week. We can host a launch for up to 200 people or a presentation for up to 150. We have a range of audio-visual equipment to meet most event needs or can arrange external hire if necessary. We provide a tea/coffee service if desired, wine glass hire, and can provide bar staff. Food and drink we leave to you and your caterer and there are no commission or corkage charges. Although we are not an expensive venue our standards are high and we have a track record to be proud of.
Many business events provide opportunities for networking and there can hardly be a better place to network than a museum. The surrounding exhibits, interesting building, and enticing atmosphere all combine to give people the best opportunities to start a conversation. There is always something to talk about!
The museum is on two floors. The ground floor is ideal for networking events for up to 125 people, or more. The first floor, fully accessible to disabled people, has a larger available floor space and is suitable for larger networking events, or for seated presentations. We can also offer cabaret style seating for up to 80. There is space for exhibitions and we can provide a range of furniture.
