The museum can host conferences for up to 150 people, theatre style, or up to 80, cabaret style. We are available for conferences all day and evening on Mondays, and at breakfast time and in the evenings on other days. We do not host daytime events for more than 20 people on Tuesdays to Sundays between 1000 and 1630.
The museum is on two floors and we use this layout to advantage. The main conference is normally on the first floor. The ground floor is used for refreshments, lunch, reception, coats, and sometimes for breakout groups. A post-conference reception also works well on the ground floor.
We provide a range of additional services. Our conference tea/coffee/biscuits services offers delegates fresh coffee made in cafetieres and fresh milk, served in hotel-style cups and saucers with a wide choice of alternative teas on offer. We have audio-visual equipment to meet most needs including a projector, screen, public address system, and other things. We can hire what we don't have ourselves, and we set up all equipment that you have ordered from us.
The interesting building, modern facilities, and experienced management all combine to make your event memorable and a smooth performance. Table covers can be red, blue, cream or white!
